AMD Ryzen Z1 series is coming
The Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU models announced by AMD are designed for portable gaming. High performance processors also try to offer the best energy efficiency.
The Ryzen Z1 series, which first appeared on the Asus ROG Ally console, is based on the Zen 4 architecture. The Ryzen Zen 1 chip contains 6 cores and 12 threads. The chip, which has 4 Navi graphics clusters, has a total cache of 22MB, while the performance reaches 2.8 TFLOPS.
The Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip has 8 cores and 16 threads. It has 12 Navi graphics clusters as well as 24MB cache and 8.6 TFLOPS performance value. It was previously mentioned that this chip is the Ryzen 7840U with Radeon 780M graphics.
While supporting technologies such as USB4, LPDDR5, LPDDR5X in the chip series, software such as AMD Radeon Super Resolution, Radeon Chill, Radeon Image Sharpening, AMD Link have not been forgotten. In the coming months, the Ryzen Z1 series will find its place on more devices.
