What will Ryzen 7000X3D processors offer?
According to reports, AMD is developing Ryzen 7000X3D processors with more than 8 cores, contrary to previously shared leaks. However, at least three sources claim that the upcoming X3D processors will be 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X3D, 8-core 7700X3D or 7800X3D.
Peak models come with up to 192 MB of L3 cache
Currently, it is not clear whether the upcoming X3D processors will support overclocking like the original models. However, recent leaks suggest that these three models will have clock speeds of up to 5.7 GHz and a TDP of 170W. In addition, among the new processors, Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D will appear with an L3 cache size of up to 192 MB. We can say that these figures are two times higher than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D model, which was released last April.
As for the release date, the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D series is expected to be released in January 2023. In addition, we may encounter a surprise price move from AMD. Upcoming new processors may be priced similarly to existing models without 3D V-Cache.
