In the past weeks, Nvidia and AMD have released their new generation Ada Lovelace and RDNA 3 graphics cards. In this context, the best selling cards were announced by MindFactory, Germany’s largest retail store, in the third week of January. According to data compiled by TechEpiphany, the RTX 4070 Ti continues to record significant success.

RTX 4070 Ti outperforms RX 7000 and Intel Arc alone

According to the shared data, in the third week of January, Nvidia sold a total of 756 cards, including 545 RTX 4070 Ti, 210 RTX 4080 and 190 RTX 4090. The AMD RX 7900 series, on the other hand, clearly lags behind the RTX 4070 Ti, with only 300 XTX cards and 200 XT models sold. The third competitor, Intel, sold 10 Arc A380s and 10 Arc A770s.

As for the sales of the previous generation cards, it is a head-to-head picture. While Nvidia sold 485 RTX 3060, 305 RTX 3060 Ti and 30 RTX 3050, 410 RX 7600 XT, 280 RX 6600 and 200 RX 6800 cards were sold on the AMD front. In addition, these figures are accompanied by the RX 6750XT, 6650XT, 6500XT and 6950XT models with a total sales of 255 units.

In the light of the new figures, we can say that middle and middle class cards are of great importance for both companies. However, neither AMD nor Nvidia has announced their next-generation mid-range cards yet. Therefore, a different picture will be waiting for us in the future.
