The video, titled “Green bubbles and blue bubbles want to be together,” was a clear reference to Apple’s iMessage service.

Apple’s iMessage service, released only for iOS users, eliminates the need for a second messaging application among iPhone users. Because high-resolution images and stickers can be sent via iMessage. Messages are also end-to-end encrypted. However, communication between an iPhone owner and an Android device owner consists only of SMS and MMS standards. Privacy is lost, sending photos and stickers incurs a fee. Here, Samsung wants Apple to give up its iMessage stubbornness and adopt Google’s global RCS standard. Apple touts its iMessage service as a marketing motive for iPhones.
