Roblox, one of the popular games of the last period, has not been working for more than a day. For the first time, problems started to occur as of 02:00 on 28 October. The company explained that it is “working hard to get things back to normal” and has identified “the root cause as an internal system issue.”
Roblox crashed but why?
It’s not entirely clear why Roblox is still down, but some players think the outage may be related to a Chipotle promotion in the game. Chipotle is giving away $1 million worth of free burritos on Roblox as part of the game’s Halloween event. Considering it aired just before the Roblox cut, players aren’t exactly wrong.
However, the company was quick to claim that the problem was not related to the Chipotle promotion. The official Roblox Twitter account shared, “We know this outage is not related to any particular experience or partnership on the platform.”
Looking at the descriptions, players still haven’t been able to find out more about when the game will return and why it has been offline for so long. The Roblox website is offline in maintenance mode and the status page has not been updated for hours.
