Ripple has received approval of its latest application to the court.

Sharing frequent updates, including the release of new documents related to the Ripple-SEC case, defense attorney James K. Filan tweeted that Ripple had another minor victory by getting a time extension in the motion submitted to the court last week.

Filan announced that the San Francisco fintech giant has received the green light from the court to extend its response time to the SEC regarding its revisions to the minutes of its meetings with third parties. The regulator was allowed to make some corrections to four sets of documents related to the Ripple case (notes from previous meetings with third parties the agency had).

James Filan states that Ripple’s move to gain extra time has been approved in a text-only order. The regulator will produce the corrected documents that will be evaluated by Ripple’s team of attorneys by tomorrow – March 30. Ripple’s legal team is expected to give its response on April 4.

As previously reported, CryptoLaw founder John Deaton did not expect the Ripple case to be resolved in March. Another Ripple community member, attorney Jeremy Hogan, expected the deal to happen in April. However, he recently said that his expectations have shifted to September/October.
