The Ripple official said that the company plans to strengthen its presence in Europe.

Ripple, which came to the fore with the SEC case in general, continues its work while the court’s decision process continues. Ripple Labs, the parent company of cryptocurrency XRP, continues to expand on a global scale. Especially despite the recent bankruptcy events, the Ripple company is increasing its partnerships.

Ripple Wants to Expand Further in Europe

General Counsel Stuart Alderoty told CNBC that Ripple is looking to expand its services and presence in the EU through an Irish entity.

Alderoty noted that Ripple is effectively operating outside of the United States today due to the results of its extensive legal battle with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also said, “Essentially, all of our customers and revenues are diverted outside of the US even though we still have a large number of employees within the US.”

Looking to expand its presence in Europe as well, Ripple currently has two employees in the Republic of Ireland. Alderoty added that the company is seeking a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license from the Irish central bank so that they can offer their services across the European Union through an organization located there.
