Blockchain and technology company Ripple has released its 2022 fourth quarter report for the XRP side. The company drew attention with its XRP sales this quarter as well. The published report was presented to the public in terms of quarterly XRP sales and related announcements. Ripple sold about $226 million in XRP in the fourth quarter.

Ripple, which regularly sells XRP as part of corporate expenses and initiatives, sold $ 226 million in XRP in the fourth quarter.
The company underlined that it has published a report for transparency and to announce regular updates. The company behind XRP also mentioned many developments in its report.
Ripple stated that it serves around 40 payment markets with its crypto-enabled cross-border payment solution ODL, launched in France Sweden and Africa. In addition, while the company sold close to $310 million in XRP in the previous quarter, it sold $226 million in XRP this quarter.
Also focusing on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) side, the company has released the first phase of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) sidechain for XRPL on Devnet that enables DeFi applications to be launched easily.
In the activity of XRPL, it was stated that approximately 130 million transactions were carried out in the fourth quarter and 365 thousand XRP was burned in these transactions.
