Riot Games announced his new Valorant agent. The talents of this agent, Waylay, are a pair of Dash that can be the most powerful movement mechanics in the game. Compared to Jett and Raze in terms of speed and mobility, Waylay will offer players with brand new strategic opportunities. What exactly can Waylay do? Here are the details…
Valorant – Waylay capabilities and gameplay mechanics
Waylay is involved in Valoran’s 28th agent and another new character who followed Tejo, which was recently added. Although Riot Games designed Waylay as a classic duelist, the most remarkable feature of the agent is the dual Dash talent called “Light Speed. This ability can be faster than Jett’s Dash, and can make players surprise their opponents by changing the position very quickly. The first use of Dash can also throw the player into the air, which brings a new alternative to Jett’s gameplay style.
In addition, Waylay’s talent set includes some control mechanics that can contribute to the team game. The abilities that bring the game a new “Hinder” effect to the game slow down the fire speed, weapon accuracy, equipment replacement time, magazine filling speed and mobility. This makes Waylay a versatile agent that can both make aggressive attacks and restrict competitors.

Counter-Strike-like update for Halo Infinite!
Halo Infinite SEEK and Deploy Extraction mode. What does this mode popular from productions like Counter-Strike and Valorant?
Waylay talents are as follows:
- Refract: Leaves a sign of light on the floor and takes the player back to this point in the form of light when he is re -activated. During the return, the player becomes untouchable.
- Light Speed: It allows the player to move twice further forward. When an alternative shot is used, only one dash can be made. The first Dash also makes it possible to spread to the air.
- Saturate: It creates a set of light that explodes when thrown to the ground and blocks the surrounding competitors. It slows down the movement of competitors and the use of weapons.
- Convergent Paths: Leaves a reflection that creates light hurtles. After a short delay, the player increases a great speed, while the light beam also expands and slows the enemies.
Waylay’s design is said to be inspired by Jett’s rapid mobility and Raze’s explosive mechanics. Riot Games’ game designer Gune Cuervo said that Waylay aims to make Waylay a duel player suitable for the aggressive game style and offer players a new style of mobility.

Waylay will be added to the game with the new Valorant update to be released on March 5th. The update will also include new weapons covering from the Cyrax collection.
