Greg Brockman, president and co-founder of OpenAI, suggested that ChatGPT could help improve the “interactive” entertainment experience. According to a report released Friday by The Hollywood Reporter, Brockman describes it as an army of assistants whose technology isn’t flawless but is “enthusiastic and never sleeps.”

Greg Brockman said at the 2023 South by Southwest (SXSW) event, “Maybe people are still upset about the final season of Game of Thrones. Imagine being able to ask your AI to make a new ending that goes differently, and maybe even put yourself there as the main character. something like this will happen,” he said.

Hollywood is starting to think about the potential impact – both good and bad – that ChatGPT could have on the TV and filmmaking process. Organizations like the Writers Guild of America West say they’re “watching the evolution of ChatGPT and similar technologies if they require additional protection for writers,” while writers say they may see ChatGPT as a tool to aid the writing process rather than replace their work.

ChatGPT will take over jobs where people are not wanted

During the SXSW panel, Brockman said ChatGPT will most likely take over the types of jobs users “do not want human judgment in the first place,” such as content moderation. According to Brockman, ChatGPT can empower every aspect of life in some way. Stating that there will be people or companies who will say ‘I don’t want this’, but this is not a problem, Brockman underlines that we should see artificial intelligence as a tool that can be used when it makes sense, just like the mobile phone.

Returning to the axis of Hollywood and productive artificial intelligence, there are also those who are against them. According to the famous Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, such vehicles are completely soulless. In an interview Spielberg gave, “I love everything that is created by a human, not a computer. The soul is unimaginable and indescribable. Likewise, it cannot be created by any algorithm. Spirit is something that exists only within us all.” said.
