When placed on top of a chip or chips, the AirJet module can generate a strong pulling force that can draw in and expel air through internal vibrations. This module offers better performance boosts on devices where a physical fan would never fit. Because the AirJet cooling module is thin and small, it takes up less space compared to the old-style case fans. This makes them particularly suitable for mobile devices and compact computers.

To be used in mini PCs

A new and perhaps revolutionary way to cool computers is coming to mini PCs. Frore Systems has announced that the AirJet cooling module will be included in the mini PC from Zotac, a recognized innovator in compact desktop computers.

Zotac will use the AirJet cooling module to pack the more powerful 8-core Intel 3.8 GHz processor into the mini PC. Zotac’s previous fanless PCs were able to use lower performance Celeron or Pentium chips.

Zotac is now preparing to be among the firsts. The upcoming mini PC will be marketed to businesses rather than consumers. Still, Frore Systems says it’s working with a growing number of companies, including consumer hardware vendors, to incorporate AirJet technology.
