Resolution doping for PS Plus Premium subscribers!

Sony has a subscription service called PS Plus Premium, where it offers PlayStation games to players over the cloud. Users who have various privileges with this subscription will now be faced with a new feature. Sony has started to offer the new resolution option that it has started to test to players.

4K resolution PS Plus service starts

The Japanese technology giant has started to offer PS5 games in 4K resolution over the cloud from now on. This feature, which is not currently open to every user, is offered to certain users via invitations. Some users have already started receiving invitations.

According to the latest information, PS Plus Premium subscribers will now be able to choose between 720p, 1080, 1440p and 2160p (4K) resolution options while playing games. It is not yet known whether 4K resolution means game graphics or streaming resolution. However, in both conditions, we can say that the game visuals will improve significantly.

It should be noted that 4K resolution support is offered for games such as God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Fortnite, Fall Guys, Destiny 2, Returnal, Demon’s Souls, Death Stranding, Sackboy A Big Adventure, Destruction All Stars and Fall Guys.

The company, which first gave the good news for its cloud service in June, refuses to give more details about its new feature for now. However, we do know that Sony is pursuing a new brand policy towards cloud gaming. Therefore, the company’s innovations for cloud games will continue in the coming period.
