Xiaomi, one of the assertive players in the smartphone market, has started preparations for the Xiaomi 14 series, which will consist of Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro and 14 Ultra models. For those who don’t know, schematic images leaked in the past weeks showed us that Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will have larger camera sensors in addition to thinner screen frames. Today’s leak includes a more refined design compared to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. So much so that an almost frameless screen curved on four sides was preferred on the front of the device.
The top frame of Xiaomi14 Pro includes additional outputs for components such as speakers, IR blaster and noise canceling microphone. Under the frame, there is a speaker grill, main microphone and a USB-C port. The SIM slot is not visible in the images, but it is most likely located at the bottom. According to current reports, Xiaomi 14 Pro will have a CrystalRes AMOLED display on the front that offers 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This screen will be accompanied by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the recent 3C listing confirmed that the device will have 120W fast charging support. In the battery section, we will most likely encounter a capacity of 5,000mAh.
Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to support satellite connectivity and run Android 14 based on MIUI 15. On the back, there will be a quad sensor setup signed by Leica.
