According to the screenshot shared by Alessandro Paluzzi, who revealed many features that came to Instagram weeks ago, Instagram is working on a download option for Reels videos. So how will this feature be used and who will it benefit?

According to the screenshot you can see just above, the download option will be in the options menu that opens when you tap the three dots next to the Reels videos. If the person who installs Reels opens the download option while sharing the video, anyone who wants will be able to download the video without the need for an additional application or website.
So what will this feature do? If you like to download and save your favorite Reels videos in your archive, we can say that this feature will be very useful for you. Apart from that, the feature will make it easier to ‘steal content’, which is one of the biggest problems of social media. Reels videos that are available for download can be easily shared by others.
