Continuing its commercial life as a sub-brand of Chinese technology giant Xiaomi, Redmi announced its newest smartphones at an event it held today. With three new models, “Note 12 Pro”, “Note 12 Pro+” and “Note 12 Explorer Edition”, the company seems determined to change the balance in the smartphone world. Because phones have really bomb features and reasonable prices.
Redmi’s new smartphones are very similar to each other in terms of design. The technical specifications are also the same in some respects. However, the Note 12 Explorer Edition, which is among these smartphones, really has a unique feature. So much so that it has 210 watt fast charging support and comes with a special charger that allows this charging support to be used with all its power. According to the statements made, the phone can be fully charged in only 9 minutes.
Here comes the Redmi Note 12 series:
All of Redmi’s new smartphones have screens that offer 6.67-inch FHD + resolution. Phones that can offer 30-60-90-120 Hz refresh rates have 240 Hz touch sensitivity. Let’s also say that the screen with a brightness value of 900 nits supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 +. By the way; All models are equipped with 16MP front cameras.
Another thing that phones have in common is the processor. Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 Explorer Edition are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 processor. The phones are supported by up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. But things are different when it comes to batteries. Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ models have 5,000mAh batteries. Note 12 Pro offers 67 watts and Note 12 Pro+ supports 120 watts fast charging. When we look at the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, we encounter a relatively small battery with a capacity of 4,300 mAh. However, this battery, as we have just mentioned, offers 210 watt fast charging support and is fully charged in 9 minutes.
Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 Explorer Edition have 200 MP cameras!
When we look at the back of the phones, the Note 12 Pro has an 8 MP ultra wide angle and 2 MP macro camera accompanying the 50 MP main camera. On the Redmi Note 12 Pro + and Explorer Edition, in addition to the main camera offering 200 MP resolution, we see a common camera setup with 8 MP ultra wide angle and 2 MP macro cameras. Note 12 Pro’s Sony IM766, Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 Explorer Edition’s Samsung HMX sensor is used.
