Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, introduced the long-awaited K60 series today. The company, which has done important work in the smartphone market, has also launched the lower segment model, the Redmi K60E, as well as the K60 and K60 Pro. The design and features of the Redmi K60E
The Redmi K60E comes up with a different design from the other two phones in the series. The three cameras on the back of the device are aligned in a triangle in the rectangular module. The primary sensor is larger than the other two. On the front, there is a selfie camera in the middle of the panel.
Coming to the technical specifications, the Redmi K60E comes with a 6.67-inch Samsung OLED display that offers 2K resolution and 120hz refresh rate. The screen has a 480hz touch sampling rate and 8-bit color depth. There is also a fingerprint reader on the side of the device. Inside the smartphone, there is the recently announced Dimensity 8200 processor for mid-segment phones.
The Dimensity 8200 has a single Cortex-A78 core running at 3.1GHz as well as three Cortex-A78 running at 3.0GHz. In addition, the processor has four 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores for lower tasks.
On the camera side, the device has a 48MP main sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is 20MP. In addition, the phone has a 5,500 mAh battery and supports 67 W fast charging. The device, which has the Android 13 operating system, comes with MIUI 14 for the interface. The smartphone features features such as dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC.
The device has three different color options and four different memory-storage options. The colors are black, white and light blue. Prices and options are as follows:
- 8GB memory + 128GB storage: 2199 Yuan ($315)
- 8GB memory + 256GB storage: 2399 Yuan ($344)
- 12GB memory + 256GB storage: 2599 Yuan ($373)
- 12GB memory + 512GB storage: 2799 Yuan ($401)
