Redmi, which was rebranded under the umbrella of Xiaomi in 2019, has reached a significant user base with its products in the smartphone world. The company has made quite a name for itself with the K50 series this year. Xiaomi is working on the Redmi K60 family to continue its success.
Redmi K60 series will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Xiaomi announced the player version of the K50 series in August with Qualcomm’s flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It seems that the company will stick to the processor. According to Digital Chat Station, which has reached important information about smartphones, the Redmi K60 series will include Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the processor seat.
Information about the device is not clear yet. So much so that even the name has not been fully clarified, it is among the information that there will be a 2K screen with QHD + resolution on the front panel of the series. On the other hand, the design of the device is not clear yet. According to the same source, the design verification is in the testing phase and production will begin after the interior design is confirmed to be safe.
The company also wants to evaluate the wishes and demands of its users in its new series. Redmi boss and Xiaomi China president William Lu recently asked his followers on the Webio platform if they wanted the Dynamic Island application, which entered our lives with the iPhone 14, in the new series. On the other hand, the devices are expected to have 120 KW fast charging support.
A 50MP main camera sensor is expected on the back of the devices, which is a modified version of the Sony IMX766 sensor. While not much change is expected in the design of the smartphone family compared to its predecessor, it is among the news that Xiaomi wants to announce the series before the end of this year.
