Redmi K50i 5G specifications

Described as the flagship model, the Redmi K50i 5G gets its power from the Dimensity 8100 processor produced by MediaTek. Produced with 5nm technology, the processor has 4 2.85GHz Cortex-A78 and 4 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The graphical interface is Mali-G610 MC6.

Redmi announced that they use LPDDR5 technology in its new flagship model. On the storage side, there is UFS 3.1 technology. Providing information about the processing speed, the company underlined that the new model can perform write and read operations 3 times faster than UFS 3.0 devices. The Redmi K50i 5G model will be available with 128GB storage/6GB RAM and 256GB storage/8GB RAM options.

Introduced with a 6.6-inch screen, the model has a 144Hz refresh rate. The device, which uses Liquid FFS Display technology, has 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Thanks to the AdaptiveSync Display technology, the device comes up with a dynamic refresh rate between 30Hz and 144Hz.

The device, which has a triple camera array, has a 64 Megapixel main camera with ISOCELL GW1 sensor, 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle camera and 2 Megapixel macro lens. On the front camera, a 16 Megapixel lens was used.

LiquidCool 2.0 was used as cooling technology in the Redmi K50i 5G model. Redmi claims that the device with a 7-layer graphite sheet has eliminated the heating problem. The device also includes technologies such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and infrared sensor.

Redmi K50i 5G was introduced with a 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging technology. The company underlined that thanks to the 67W fast charging technology, the device reaches 50 percent occupancy in just 15 minutes.
