Redmi, which was rebranded under the umbrella of Xiaomi in 2019, has reached a significant user base with its products in the smartphone world. The company made quite a name for itself with the K50 series. A new Redmi model is added to this series.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Xiaomi has released a visual about the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, which is expected to be introduced towards the end of August. While entering the final corner for the model, its features began to take shape. The company will launch its device as its flagship model.
The new Redmi model will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line processor. The processor includes eight processing cores clocked up to 3.2 GHz and an advanced 5G modem.
According to information obtained from important sources, the new Redmi model will be first class with its camera features. The main camera of the model, which will be released with a triple camera array on the back, will be 200 megapixels. It will be accompanied by 32 and 8 megapixel sensors. On the front of the device, there will be a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The device comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ technology support. Offering a RAM capacity of up to 12 GB, the model also offers a storage option of up to 256 GB. On the other hand, the model with a 5,000 mAh battery will have 120W fast charging support. Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will ship with Android 12-based MIUI 13 operating system.
