Redmi brand launched the Redmi A27 monitor late last month. The Chinese manufacturer has now released a slightly more expensive model. Called Redmi A27Q, the device carries a 27-inch IPS display with 2560 x 1440 pixels (2K) resolution, 75 Hz refresh rate and thin bezels.

The panel used in the monitor has 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut support. There’s also blue light reduction technology. We can list its other outstanding features as 178 degree viewing angle, 250 nits maximum brightness, 8-bit color depth and HDR 10 technology.

65W reverse fast charging over USB-C

One of the functions of the Redmi A27Q is that it can offer 65W reverse fast charging via the USB-C port. In other words, it can be used to charge devices such as laptops. The monitor also has the same row of USB-A, HDMI and DisplayPort 1.4 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new monitor has a VESA mount and a tilt-adjustable stand. The Redmi A27Q is already on sale in the company’s home country of China. The price tag is $120.
