While Redmi has scheduled an event for the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series on February 9, it seems that the company has not yet finished the 10 series (for India at least). Over the past few weeks, the Redmi 10 2022 has received several certifications confirming its existence. The smartphone has been viewed once, this time on the Geekbench portal.

According to data from Geekbench, the Redmi 10 2022 will carry the model number 21121119VL. The device, which scored 367 points in the single-core section and 1253 points in the multi-core section, is powered by the MediaTek MT6769H chipset, which is believed to be the Helio G88 chipset. The phone also has 4GB of RAM and will run Android 11 out of the box.

What are the features of Redmi 10 2022?

We have previously seen the Redmi 10 2022 model in the Google Play Console list. It was revealed that the Redmi 10 2022 version has a Full HD + display, which is similar to the current Redmi 10 in this respect. It had the same chipset as seen on Geekbench but with 6GB of RAM. The 6GB RAM variant may be the top configuration except for the 4GB RAM variant.

FCC certification approved three models: 21121119SG, 22011119UY and 21121119VL. While the middle model is seen with storage options such as 64GB and 128GB, all models on the list will come out of the box with MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 operating system.

Earlier, a China-based informant revealed that the 2022 version of the phone will have the same camera setup as the current Redmi 10. He said the device will come with a 50 Megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 or OmniVision OV50C40 primary lens. It will be accompanied by an 8 Megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor and a 2 Megapixel OmniVision OV02B1B sensor.

Apart from that, rumors are also circulating that the new Redmi 10 2022 will be a rebranded Redmi Note 11 4G Chinese version. If this claim is true, we can see a 6.5-inch FHD + LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. This device, which will come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, will have a fingerprint scanner on the side.
