Red Dead Redemption will be released on August 17
Red Dead Redemption, which has been the subject of leaks for a while, is not a remaster or remake, contrary to what is claimed in the leaks. The production appears as a reworked version of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Announced for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch, the game will also include the original production’s Undead Nightmare and Game of the Year Edition add-ons. The physical version of the product, which will be released on the Playstation Store and Nintendo eShop on August 17, will go on sale on October 13.
Developed by Double Eleven Studios, Red Dead Redemption adds almost nothing on top of the original game. Although the technical details of the new production have not been disclosed, as it is understood from the graphics, the game will only have minor resolution and graphics improvements. As we understand from Rockstar Games’ announcement, the game will not be released for Xbox Series or PC platforms. Let me remind you that Xbox Series and Xbox One owners can play the Xbox 360 version of the game with backward compatibility. Playstation 5 users will be able to play the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption on their consoles. The production, which connects directly to Red Dead Redemption 2 with its story, will go on sale next week.
