Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull has also filed a trademark application for metaverses and NFTs. The company has stated that it plans to expand into the metaverse and offer branded NFTs.
Metaverse trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis announced this news to Red Bull on Tuesday, March 8. The company announced that it plans to offer a range of financial exchange services and multimedia related to NFT, both virtual and cryptocurrencies.
Trademark applications have been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) under registration number 97293326.

American multinational energy company Chevron has announced that it has filed a new metaverse-related trademark application for its name and logo.
Victoria’s Secret, fast-food chain McDonald’s, energy drink manufacturer Monster Energy and retail giant Walmart are some of the big companies that have stepped into the NFT sector. The number of NFT trademark applications in the United States had increased 421 times in 2021.
