A major CS:GO skin trader reported that a single gun sold for a record price of over $400,000. After Valve announced Counter-Strike 2 and announced that all existing weapon skins will be fully compatible with the new version, there have been speculative increases in the price of almost all skins available in CS:GO. It is known that the weapon skin, which is sold for four hundred thousand dollars, is extremely rare.

The most expensive gun sale in game history

CS:GO’s skin market has always been a fascinating byproduct of the game’s success, and rare skins have long been available for very high bucks. Now, an AK-47 skin has become the most expensive weapon in CS:GO and possibly video game history. Of course, this skin is none other than the minimal wear StatTrak Tier 1 Case Hardened AK-47 with Blue Gem pattern. In addition, there are four Katowice 2014 Titan Holo stickers on the gun, each worth approximately $60,000. According to the reports, there are only 121 of these weapon skins and only 38 of the Titan Holo stickers.

Minimal wear means the gun is actually in second best condition. As far as we know, a new factory version of this product is not currently available, but theoretically it could one day come out of its box. The most sought-after and valuable skin in the CS:GO skin remains the Blue Gem Karambit knife, which was allegedly the subject of a $1.5 million bid last year (which the owner rejected). There are two products in this sale by CS:GO skin trader zipeL. One is the AK-47 we mentioned above, and the other is the Blue Gem Karambit, which is in a very worn condition and therefore significantly less valuable than the new factory version. ZipeL says the total value of the swap is over $500,000, of which $400,000 is for the AK-47 skin.

I’ve seen many claims over the years that this or that costume has been sold for large sums of dollars, but you’ll rarely see clear evidence that that much money has changed hands. On the other hand, it should be noted that the CS:GO skin market is currently under serious speculation. Prices are inflated due to the Counter-Strike 2 update and the skins will be imported into the new game with better visuals.
