Jeffrey Yass, co-founder of Susquehanna International Group, donated 100 Bitcoins (BTC) to the crypto-backed organization Super PAC.
As cryptocurrencies are adopted by people, they continue to be used by politicians. Another of the political establishments that emerged as part of the people’s new orientation was the Super PACs. Technically only appearing as independent spending committees, Super PACs can raise donations of unlimited amounts. However, organizations cannot directly use this money for any politician.
100 Bitcoin Donations Made for Super PAC
Expectations are growing for cryptocurrencies to be legalized, used and adopted by countries. Although the general expectation is displayed by small investors, the inclusion of corporates stands out. A crypto-backed Super PAC has received donations from billionaire Jeffrey Yass. The billionaire donated 100 BTC worth approximately $2.2 million.
A donation of 100 BTC to the community known as the Crypto Freedom PAC has made its way into the archives as the highest political donation ever recorded.
