China’s huge game market
According to the market analysis, the Chinese game market earned 45.5 billion dollars in 2022. Giants such as Tencent and NetEase have a big impact on this. China’s domestic game companies dominate 47 percent of global mobile game revenues and 39 percent of PC game revenues.
In 2023, the country puts some brakes on it. According to estimated figures, PC game revenues remain at $14.5 billion, while mobile game revenues are $32.3 billion and console revenues are $2.38 billion. In this period, the number of players is expected to either decrease or be in a straight line.
