The Chinese brand Realme has introduced a new affordable C-series smartphone today. The model, which was introduced to the market under the name Realme C53, was first showcased in Malaysia. It is expected to launch in other markets in the coming weeks.
The smartphone appeared with a 6.74-inch IPS display with HD + resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate and 560 nits maximum brightness. One of the remarkable features of the new model is that it offers an experience similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island feature in the notch section of the screen.
Realme C53 is based on octa-core Unisoc T612 processor. The device is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB. Its memory can be expanded up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card. The Chinese company has included a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support in the smartphone.
50 megapixel main camera
Realme C53 has a dual camera unit on the back panel that includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The resolution of the selfie camera is 8 megapixels. The device is offered in two color options, gold and black.
Other features of Realme C53 can be listed as 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 5GHz) and Android 13 operating system. The suggested retail price of the smartphone is $120.
