In a content we shared with you recently, we talked about the fact that a robot named Chole in the game Detroit: Become Human was launched on Twitter as if it were real, and people believed it and talked about the serious comments they made for Chole. While we could not get over the impact of this event, this time a different issue was on the agenda on Twitter. Users who took a post about the coronavirus seriously were surprised where to attack. . .
A Twitter account with less than 10 thousand followers made a post about the vaccine, which is the only weapon against coronavirus, in the past hours. In this post, it was written that a test for those who have coronavirus vaccine has ended, that those who have been vaccinated will be able to be controlled remotely as of October, and that people will even die due to the vaccine. This sharing caused the citizens, who were already inclined to believe in conspiracy theories, to go crazy.
The post in question was
Test trials are over.
I appeal to those who have been vaccinated:
– You will be remotely controlled from October.
– You will be connected to the digital system.
– You can die from October.
– You can have cerebral palsy or a heart attack.
Note: The streets will be filled with corpses.
This post, made by the person with the username “Fearless”, received thousands of likes and retweets, as well as more than a thousand comments and tweets with quotes. While sensible people were arguing that the post was wrong and should be removed, the number of users who took the issue as a joke or took it seriously was not a small number. We have compiled some of those posts for you.
Here are some posts about the conspiracy theory about the COVID-19 vaccine.
