TRON founder Justin Sun reacted to the fact that Ukraine did not send free crypto money to TRON users while trying to protect itself from a Russian invasion.

The other day, the official Twitter account of the Ukrainian government responded to a post by Gavin Wood, co-founder of Ethereum and co-creator of Polkadot, about donating $5 million worth of DOT to Ukraine, saying, “Airdrop has been approved.” He stated that snapshots will be taken in March. These statements were interpreted as an airdrop will be sent to donors.

Sun said that TRON users donated $1.2 million in USDT but are now completely ignored regarding the airdrop:

“This is UNJUSTICE. We need to fix it!”

Sun also said this is not related to him:

“Not for me! For the 5,000+ people who donated to Ukraine in the first place and don’t expect anything back!”

These statements of Sun caused a reaction in the crypto community. One user said, “Are you aware that the people you are talking to are currently running away from real bullets and real bombs? And you want them to stop what they’re doing and give you a goddamn airdrop.”
