Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is the rarest and most beautiful of the Viper Ultimates, produced in four different colors (also black, white and pink), in our opinion. Yes, it was unfortunate that it was released specifically for a game like Cyberpunk 2077 that had a hard time meeting expectations, you are right, but the mouse is so beautiful that there is no need to worry about it one bit.

Razer Viper Ultimate is a small/medium sized product. For users with large hands, the grip will be a problem, regardless of the grip, you need to consider this when purchasing. Viper is actually not a model that can show its ambitious design very much, but the colors used in the CP2077 Edition have created a Bumblebee that is waiting to be transformed. Extremely good plastic quality combined with CP2077 colors, you can’t get enough of looking at it. At this point, the question comes to mind because what I fear most when buying a limited edition mouse, how durable are these colors for long use? I don’t know the answer to this either, but we haven’t seen a complaint so far. We can’t help but trust Razer, we’ll see over time.

Viper Ultimate is an ambidextrous mouse for both right- and left-handed players. It has eight keys that you can program through Razer Synapse 3. There is little to no clicking when you shake it, all the buttons are firmly in place. We can say that the click sound of the main buttons is in normal sizes. It can’t be called silent, it doesn’t scratch your ears either. The wheel, on the other hand, is in complete silence when you turn it towards you, and when you turn it inward, it is more bony and a little louder. When the wheel is right clicked, it goes into scroll mode, but it moves so little through the buttons that it’s hard to do this upwards. Unfortunately, the function keys on both sides have a bit of a sponge feel. The rough leather coating on both sides also allows you to comfortably grip the already very light mouse. The Razer logo on the product has RGB support.

The weight of the mouse is only 74 grams wirelessly. This makes it one of the lightest products on the market. If you want to use a cable, the cable has been extremely successful. Paracord cable does not snag right or left and is soft enough to make your work easier.

Another beauty of the CP2077 Edition is that it comes with a yellow charging station with RGB support. This station is also a Wireless distance extender. It is enough to place the 2.4GHz receiver that can be carried under the mouse. This receiver is quite small and can be carried inside the mouse. Since Viper Ultimate is a performance-oriented product, it is acceptable that it does not support Bluetooth. Likewise, unlike the Razer Viper 8K that we have reviewed before, the Polling Rate value is limited to 1000Hz.

The inside of the box is full. The Focus+ optical sensor produced by Razer together with Pixart has a sensitivity of 20,000Hz (in practice, it supports up to 26,000Hz), 99%. With a scan accuracy of 6 and a speed of 650 IPS, it is one of the best, perhaps the best, on the market. Moreover, thanks to the Asymmetric Cut-Off feature, you can distinguish between the degrees of sensitivity when you raise the mouse and when you lower it. Thus, it is possible to reach extremely ideal and side-effect-free settings such as 1mm landing and 2mm lifting. Thanks to the Smart Tracking feature, you do not need to recalibrate when you change the mouse pad. Motion Sync also works with HyperSpeed ​​technology, reducing the response time to a value of 0.2ms, which is not possible even for wired mice, and provides a more consistent monitoring performance by eliminating the bottlenecks in data transportation. Razer offers 70 hours of life at full charge (if you don’t mind RGB or something). We couldn’t make it to this time, but we can say that we haven’t been able to finish the battery for days and we’ve had a magazine break. However, we have to rely on this figure. You can assign 5 different profiles to the internal memory of the mouse from Synapse 3, and you can switch between these profiles with the help of the button under the mouse. The bottom part is more complex than you’re used to from other mice. The charging point, the cover you carry the receiver, the on/off button and the profile selection button are pretty crowded below. We are generally happy with the 100% Virgin PTFE skatez, but ours spent the first 5 minutes making noise on the hard mouse pad and scratching the fabric. We think it’s a tiny manufacturing defect, a tiny burr, it disappeared after a little use.
