Billionaire Ray Dalio stated that Bitcoin (BTC) investment constitutes a small part of his portfolio.
Speaking to CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Dalio said that Bitcoin investment is only a small part of his portfolio.
Although Dalio did not disclose the amount of Bitcoin in his portfolio, he had previously stated that he found it reasonable to invest 2% of the portfolio in Bitcoin.
While the billionaire noted that Bitcoin has had tremendous success in the last 11 years, he stressed that portfolio diversification is quite important.
The billionaire investor stated that both Bitcoiners and gold bugs are “too busy” with their investment choices.
Dalio’s stance on cryptocurrencies has changed dramatically since the pandemic. Dalio initially stated that Bitcoin is not a money because the asset is neither a means of payment nor a store of value. However, he later changed his mind on cryptocurrencies and announced last May that he had made a small investment in Bitcoin.
