Raspberry Pi global shutter camera
Today’s cameras prefer a spiral shutter, and as the pixels capture light from left to right or from top to bottom, this concept causes image distortions on fast moving objects or rotating objects such as propellers.
The global shutter, on the other hand, allows the pixels to capture light at the same time and prevents such distortions. The global shutter camera plugin prepared by Raspberry Pi has a resolution of 1.6MP and a 6.3mm Sony IMX296 sensor.
Raspberry Pi cards with CSI camera connection are required to use the camera. Also compatible with 6mm CS and 16mm C-mount CGL lenses. The camera add-on will be sold with a $50 price tag.
