As you can remember, the year 2022, which we left behind 8 days ago, was a year in which big brands were shaken by data leak scandals. It seems that this data leak rush continues at full speed in 2023.
Since the last days of December, many social media users, including Mert Bayantemur, whom we know from the technology world, started to share that they received verification code spam from various big brands.
Reportedly sending multiple verification codes in a row
According to social media users, although they do not do any shopping or registration, verification code spam is sent from big brands such as Şok Market, N11, Kahve Dünyası, DeFacto, Mopaş Market, English Home and Click Gelsin.
As the event is brand new and not many people have been exposed yet, there has been no explanation from the brands or a request from the data thieves.
