Today, the wireless headphone industry is more crowded than ever, and we see headphone models from numerous companies suitable for every segment. Qualcomm has announced two new sound chips for those who want to differentiate in the industry.
What do Qualcomm Sound chips offer?
Audio controller chips called Qualcomm S5 Sound Platform (QCC517x) and Qualcomm S3 Sound Platform (QCC307x) aim to transmit CD quality lossless audio wirelessly. It can be used for full wireless and standard wireless headphones.
Snapdragon X70 features and price have been announced
Chips can reach 16bit/44.1Hz lossless transmission level without sacrificing sound quality. When paired with Snapdragon 8 chipsets, it provides CD-quality audio streaming. On the playback side, 24-bit / 96Hz high resolution can be achieved.
The chip, which also offers 68ms delay mode for gamers, also brings the third generation adaptive active noise canceling technology as standard. AptX and AAC codecs are also supported. Qualcomm QCC517x and QCC307x chips will be released in the second half of the year.
