PUBG Mobile has officially introduced the latest security measure Fog of War anti-cheat system, developed to effectively combat the use of X-Ray known as wall cheating. PUBG Mobile, the first mobile game to use this advanced anti-cheat technology, has started working to reduce cheating in battle royale matches with this system, which provides a decrease of more than 50 percent during the test phase.

As the anti-cheat application gradually comes into effect, it will continue to optimize the system to end the use of cheating.

The first of its kind in mobile games, Fog of War is an advanced anti-cheat system that limits the game information a player receives and hinders their ability to see players out of sight or behind walls, objects.

In the first application, cheating usage decreased by 62 percent.

The Fog of War system first scans all the buildings and terrain on PUBG Mobile’s massive maps. Through internal calculations, the system intelligently determines what the player should see, and finally sends only the specified information from the server to the player. Invisible information will not be sent, which will prevent players using the wall cheat.

Fog of War was previously available in limited capacity on certain maps to test and improve the system. During limited use, the number of x-ray image cheating reports decreased by more than 50 percent in matches where the Fog of War anti-cheat system was activated, and the report rate decreased by as much as 62% in key regions.

PUBG Mobile was the first mobile game in the world to implement such a security measure on large and open maps, and this security system will be made more and more comprehensive. From this point forward, the Fog of War anti-cheat system will gradually roll out in PUBG MOBILE’s game modes, and data will continue to be collected to improve the technology until everyone can enjoy fair, balanced competition.
