When KRAFTON, Inc.’s latest update for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS launches on PC servers on June 8 and consoles on June 16, players can enter the new ranked season, find more healing items in Erangel and Miramar, and Team They can enjoy the original Sanhok map in Game of Death Mode (TOO).

- Ranked Season 18: Ranked Season 17 is coming to its end, and players should remember to get their rewards based on their last level in Season 17 as the 18.1 update brings a new ranked season for players to participate in. When Ranked Season 18 begins, the number of watched sessions is not enough to maintain the queue, so it will no longer be available in Squad – FPP console ranks in North America and Europe.
- Item Spawn Balance: Since we’ve been receiving reports that healing items are hard to find in normal matches in Erangel and Miramar, our team has detected that the spawn rate of healing items has decreased due to increased weapon and attachment spawn rates in regular matches in Erangel. Also, Miramar didn’t see a drop in the spawn rate of the healing item in regular matches, but the game dynamics have changed aggressively due to the higher probability of finding more weapons and attachments, thus naturally increasing the demand for healing items. To address these changes, the total amount of items and spawn rates will be increased when update 18.1 is released. Please review the patch notes for changes to item spawn rates.
- Original Sanhok Returns to PK: The original Sanhok map is back in PK rotation with updated map select rates for update 18.1. Map select rates and locations are as follows:
- Map Pick Rates – Taego: 40%, Sanhok: 20%, Erangel: 16%, Vikendi: 16%, Miramar: 8%
- Maps – Taego: Palace / Land / Mountain / Shipyard / Market, Sanhok: Paradise Resort / Shipyard, Erangel: Stalber / Sosnovka, Vikendi: Peshkova / Podvosto, Miramar: Campomilitar
