Electronic Arts’ 2019 survival game Apex Legends is getting a major upgrade today. With the work done by the developer team Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends has been made fully compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Players will now be able to experience all the advantages of their next-generation consoles in Apex Legends.
Apex Legends has been a freeware since its first day of release. This will also apply to the version adapted for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In other words, new generation console owners who want to play the new version of Apex Legends will not pay anything. So what features does the new version of Apex Legends have?
HDR, 60 Hz, 4K and more…
Respawn Entertainment gives Apex Legends 4K resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, brought more texture detailing features for longer distances with quality shading. With these new features, gamers will have a more immersive visual experience on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The company also announced that 120 Hz support will come in the future.
If you own an Xbox Series X/S, you don’t need to do anything to upgrade the game. Because the game will be updated automatically. However, if you have a PlayStation 5, you need to access the update menu after logging into the game and download the PlayStation 5 compatible version. After doing this, you can delete PlayStation 4 compatible Apex Legends.
