Products expected to be introduced at the Apple September 2022 event

When will the Apple event take place?

While Apple will focus on the iPhone lineup at its upcoming fall event, we’ll also see the Apple Watch and other products. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Apple event, which has been held virtually with pre-recorded images since 2020, is expected to take place in the first week of September this year.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max

Every year, iPhone models are featured at the first event of the fall. Flat iPhone 14 models will not offer groundbreaking innovations, but rather an updated version of previous models.

Apple is expected to release two models as usual, but there are changes in size. iPhone 14 Max will be replaced by iPhone mini. We will see the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. The iPhone 13’s notch, the iPhone 13’s processor (slightly accelerated), will be used on the plain iPhone 14s. ProMotion will again be exclusive to Pro models. Leaks say that there will also be a 47mm Apple Watch Series 8 Pro model with a larger screen. The Pro model, which is expected to be more robust, will likely have a more durable case such as titanium.

It is said that the Standard and Pro model will measure body temperature. The S8 processor will not be much faster than the S7 processor.

iPad and iPad Pro

We usually see the new iPads during the September event. It’s rolling out in September or at the next event of the season, depending on Apple’s launch plans.

Leaks and visuals for the 10th generation iPad show that it will be moving to a completely new design. Flat iPad Pro-like edges hint at Apple Pencil 2 support. We may see thinner bezels and a new rear camera module, but the Home button with Touch ID will remain.

It is not difficult to guess that it will support 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 6 connections. We can also meet the iPad model with the M2 processor. The 11-inch iPad Pro may offer updates such as wireless charging via MagSafe, camera system changes, mini LED backlighting. The Smart Connector will also see a change (four-pin design).

AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max

It seems that the 3rd generation AirPods and AirPods Pro will be replaced by AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max.

In May, rumors surfaced that AirPods would be refreshed in the second half of 2022, most likely at the fall event. A bodyless design, a microphone in the charging box, a kind of hearing aid function, a speaker in the box that will make it easier to find lost headphones, are among the innovations we can see in the new AirPods Pro. It is said that we will see new color options rather than new features in AirPods Max.

Rumors claim that new Macs are on the way, like the new Mac mini and M2 MacBook Pro model. But Apple usually doesn’t introduce new Mac computers at its September event; saving it for the next event.

Apple’s mixed reality glasses have also been talked about for a long time. It is estimated that the company will hold a separate promotional event for this product, and there are estimates that we will not see it before 2023.
