We are going through a very controversial period about the aids organized for stray animals and the associations established. Despite this, there are many shelters that try to reach our dear friends and save their lives. However, these shelters need serious support for the care of animals.

Özlem Akman’s three-dimensional animal busts and figures, produced with felt during the pandemic, were exhibited in İzmir on May 16-17-18. This exhibition, which symbolizes the return of felt from nature to nature, was organized to use the income to provide food support to animal shelters, and it achieved its purpose.

326 pieces of 15 kg cat and dog food reached 4 different animal shelters and a 75 year old volunteer animal lover in İzmir:

Felt Art and Animal Busts exhibition was held between 16-17-18 May at EGIAD Social and Cultural Activities Center in Konak, Izmir. As announced before the exhibition, the cat and dog food purchased with the income was donated to 4 different animal shelters and a volunteer pestle lover in İzmir.

From the residents of the Friendly Dog House in Seferihisar, the Wet Noses Shelter in Menderes, the Çandarlı Nursing Home, the Hipder Shelter in Kemalpaşa and in addition, the residents of the Narlıdere Elderly House to a 75-year-old animal lover, a total of 326 15-kilogram cats and dogs food has been delivered.
