In this context, many rumors until today were that the new tablet family would be introduced in 2022. However, this did not happen. Now a new report by XiaomiUI has clarified the features and possible release date of the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.Xiaomi 13 Ultra may accompany its launch
As it is known, Xiaomi is preparing to showcase its new flagship phone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. XiaomiUI, on the other hand, reported that the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series will launch in the first half of 2023 along with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, among the two models in the family, the Pad 6 Pro will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
Xiaomi Pad 6 features
The Xiaomi Pad 6 series is expected to have a metal body and thin screen bezels, similar to the Pad 5. Also, both tablets will have LCD panels on the front with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and refresh rates up to 120Hz. On the other hand, Xiaomi may also turn to OLED screen preference on the Pad 6 Pro for more enhanced contrast and color.
On the chipset side, Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 888 or 870, while Pad 6 Pro is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In addition, the Xiaomi Pad 6 family, which will come with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, will be supported by a dual rear camera setup, including an 8MP selfie sensor. Among the other outstanding features of the tablets, there are four speakers signed by Harman Kardon, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
