Possible release date for Apple AR/VR headset shared
According to Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, Apple plans to launch its new mixed reality headset in the fall. However, the leak source reported that this announcement could be delayed to spring or summer due to software development and ongoing drop testing issues.
Earlier, Kuo had pointed to the January launch for the Apple AR/VR headset. The latest information shows that the software giant is trying to complete its developer tools. In addition, the most noteworthy point in Ming Chi Kuo’s sharing is that the headset had mechanical problems during the drop test. Presumably this issue will cause changes in the title’s release date.
The Apple mixed reality headset is expected to have dual 4K displays, an M2-based processor and a price tag of over $2000. It will also bring with it dozens of cameras and sensors.
