It was stated that the managers of these two brands exchanged ideas during the meetings where the brands gathered to discuss the annual results and possible partnerships. The development, which has been expected for many years, can become a reality with the partnership of Porsche and Apple.
Porsche and Apple can produce cars together!
As it is known, Apple has been working on an autonomous car for a long time. The US-based company, which has met with many different companies on this issue, has not yet taken a clear step in this regard. However, the Porsche CEO’s recent statement seems to excite car lovers.
Speaking during the brand’s annual results talks, Porsche CEO Oliver Blume made the following statements:
“We already use Apple CarPlay in our vehicles, we will expand it.”
At the same time, Oliver Blume said that companies are “on the same wavelength” in this regard, but stated that it is too early to make a decision about future projects. We don’t yet know what kind of projects Apple and Porsche are working on to work together.
This partnership could have something to do with advanced in-car technology that will be used in future Porsche models. However, the manager’s statements point to a larger project behind these studies.
Apple may have finally decided to work with Porsche to get the Apple Car project on the road. It will be really nice to see Porsche’s experience in the industry blend with Apple’s clean design and electronic technology to create a new car.
