Polygon (MATIC) started to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique active wallet (UAW) increase in March.
Polygon, which emerged as an Ethereum scaling platform, gained popularity with the ecosystem and smart contracts it created. The project is preferred by most users because of its fast and inexpensive network operations. Decentralized application analytics platform DappRadar stated that the number of unique active wallets (UAW) on its Polygon (MATIC) network reached 138,081 in March. This amount represents an increase of 53 percent compared to February.
The increase in UAW on the Polygon side enabled the project to surpass Hive and move up to second place. With the rise in its network, Polygon has become one of the prominent blockchains in the field of gaming.
According to data provided by DappRadar, the UAW increase on the Polygon network is due to the Hunters On-Chain game. This game, which the players show great interest, is on the Polygon network.
Looking at the past months, some bullish momentum has been observed on the Polygon side regarding NFTs, gaming and Metaverse.
