OpenSea announced that it has integrated Seaport with Polygon.

Polygon Support from OpenSea

OpenSea announced the Ethereum-based Seaport last June for users to access NFTs more efficiently and securely. Afterwards, Seaport, which served its users with announcements such as Klaytn and Solana integrations, this time completed the Polygon integration. OpenSea announced on Twitter that Polygon network support for Seaport has been completed. Thus, Seaport users became able to use the platform in many networks.

In the announcement made on Twitter, the developers said:

“Starting today, we will start using Seaport for all new listings and offers on Polygon! We are excited to start using Seaport across multiple Blockchain networks to improve the experience for everyone at OpenSea.”

The NFT market is currently experiencing one of its most inefficient periods in terms of volume and transactions. DappRadar data noted that NFT market volume dropped below $1 Billion for the first time since June 2021. The main reason for the decline in the NFT market is that there is a bear period in the crypto money market and the prices are falling seriously.
