In the period when the electric car industry was on fire, Nissan attracted attention with the four new electric vehicle concepts it introduced. Now, with its ambitious initiative, the brand that is in the headlines is Polestar. The company continues its preparations to put the Polestar 3 model on sale without slowing down. Polestar 3, which is planned to compete with proven models such as Tesla Model X, Audi E-tron, Mercedes-Benz EQC, Rivian R1S, will meet with users in 2022.
Polestar originally entered the industry as a sub-brand of Volvo, but gained its own fame with its work in the electric car market. Polestar 3, the company’s first electric car produced in the USA, is in the ‘premium’ category. Any information about the price and general features of the electric car, which is planned to be released in 2022, has not yet surfaced. The previous model of the series, the Fastback Sedan Polestar 2, offered a range of 408 horsepower with its engine and 470 kilometers with its 78 kWh battery. Therefore, the features of the Polestar 3, which is stated to be superior, can be expected to be extremely impressive.
The company already has two more new car plans. The company, which entered the sector with the Polestar 1 coupe vehicle, released the full-electric Polestar 2 model immediately after this hybrid model. Aiming to launch the third of the series in 2022, the company’s 2023 vision includes the Polestar 4 compact SUV model. In 2024, a sports sedan under the name Polestar 5 is aimed.
