One of the successful players in the smartphone industry, Xiaomi’s independent brand POCO continues to work to present its new products to the users. The POCO F4 GT model, which the company is preparing to launch in global markets in the future, appeared in the e-Government IMEI database.
POCO F4 GT in e-Government IMEI database
The POCO F4 GT is not the first model to appear in the company’s e-Government IMEI database. In the past days, POCO X4 Pro 5G and Redmi 10A models were also seen by users.
As it is known, rebranding is frequently preferred among China-based smartphone manufacturers. Therefore, the POCO F4 GT is expected to be the Gaming Edition Pro global version of the Redmi K50 series, which is expected to be introduced in China very soon.
Sources close to the company, Xiaomiui, revealed that the smartphone appeared on the e-Government IMEI page with the model number 2121210G. On the other hand, it is worth noting that the letter “G” at the end of the model number represents global markets.
Allegedly, the POCO F4 GT will come with an OLED panel that offers 120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint reader, which is determined as a security method, will also be positioned under the screen.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000, which is currently one of the most powerful mobile processors. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the processor has 1 x 3.05GHz Arm Cortex-X2 performance core, 3 x 2.85GHz Arm Cortex-A710 and 4 x 1.8GHz Arm Cortex-A510 efficiency cores. On the graphics side, there is the Arm Mali-G710 chip.
Apart from this, the device is expected to use a quad camera setup consisting of 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 or 108 Megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 main camera, 13 Megapixel OmniVision OV13B10 ultra wide angle, 8 Megapixel OmniVision OV08856 telemacro camera and 2 Megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M1 depth sensor.
Of course, the introduction date of the POCO F4 GT is currently unknown. However, if we consider the appearance of the phone in e-Government, we can say that it can be introduced in a few months.
