We’re finally close to the long-awaited launch date of POCO’s next entry-level device, the POCO C40, 6 months into 2022. On its official POCO Twitter account, the company announced that the POCO C40 will officially launch globally on June 16 through an online launch event organized by the company.

In the announcement, the company says the POCO C40 will feature a custom design made by POCO. One of the color options for the POCO C40 will be POCO’s signature POCO Yellow color group. However, upon closer inspection, the design shown in the published teaser is very similar to the Redmi 10C that was launched worldwide earlier this year and the standard Redmi 10 that was also launched in India.
As for the other features of the POCO C40, POCO has also released teasers for the smartphone’s features on its official social media accounts. The company says the POCO C40 will pack a 6,000mAh battery, the largest ever in a POCO smartphone, and will also feature a 6.71-inch drop notch display, the largest in a POCO smartphone.
