Sony shared a PlayStation game called Dreams with game lovers a few years ago. Developed by the Media Molecule studio, Dreams is defined as an ever-expanding game universe created by the developers of LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, and was based on the idea that players could create their own game universe and share it with other players.
Presented with the principle of Play, Create, Share, Dreams offered players the opportunity to unleash their creativity and paved the way for bringing ideas to life with innovative, easy-to-use tools. After the Dreams project, which aroused great interest with this idea, Sony acquired the rights to an animated movie called A Winter’s Journey. So what’s special about it?
What makes the idea of A Winter’s Journey, which was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics, special is that it merges with Dreams under a similar core concept. John Malkovich and Jason Isaacs are expected to take the lead roles in the film, which will blend real actors with CGI, computer-generated imagery and animations. There is no information about the release date of the movie, which is said to start shooting in Wroclaw, Poland in June.
