Fans have been waiting for a new game for a very long time for the Elder Scrolls series, which includes Skyrim, which is the first game that comes to mind when Bethesda is mentioned. The Elder Scrolls 6 was originally announced with a very short introduction in 2018, but it has been 5 years since then. Now, while all players are waiting for this game like crazy, a claim has emerged that can anger PlayStation players.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has a vague answer on whether Elder Scrolls 6 will be an Xbox exclusive game

Even though it’s only been 2 days since Starfield’s release, people are already wondering about Bethesda’s next big game, The Elder Scrolls 6. It is obvious that development work for the sequel continues and Bethesda has great expectations from this game.

However, some game journalists and curious gamers are still wondering if the game is likely to launch somewhere other than Xbox. In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Spencer was asked if The Elder Scrolls 6 would be an Xbox exclusive like Starfield.

Spencer said, “We evaluate the games we build on a case-by-case basis. We want to make sure our games are available in many different places. On our Xbox consoles, PC, and also in the cloud.

These games can come to almost any web-enabled device. We’re looking at millions of players who will have access to Starfield and other Xbox Game Studios games. “It’s really about giving players choice in how they want to play and building out their game libraries,” he replied.

Phil Spencer has made an exemplary statement on how to respond without answering. However, it can be understood from this that if the decision to make Starfield an Xbox exclusive game provides the company with a profit margin on console and Game Pass sales, a similar policy will probably be followed for The Elder Scrolls 6.

Starfield director Todd Howard recently advocated for Starfield to be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and made a comparison that when people think of Zelda, they think of Nintendo. Howard also noted that this made development easier because it meant there was one less platform for the game to run on.

We don’t know whether you call Howard’s explanation laziness or a concern for originality and quality. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
