Sony released Marvel’s Spider-Man Remestered game for the PC platform last week. While Spider-Man Remastered, which is already popularly played on the PlayStation platform, has attracted the attention of the players on the PC platform, a line that appears in the files of the game shows that Sony is preparing its own launcher, that is, the launcher application.

According to the files verified by VGC, the PlayStation PC launcher is very close. Well what does it mean?

As it is known, in order to play the games of Ubisoft, Rockstar and Activision Blizzard on the PC platform, you need to download the company’s launcher application to your computer. Confirming that a similar move will come by Sony through the files in Spider-Man Remastered, VGC says that Sony may have planned to offer PlayStation Network integration to PC games.

Currently, neither Spider-Man Remastered nor any other PlayStation Studios PC game allows connection with PSN accounts, but 2 references named “PSNAccountLinked” and “PSNLinkingEntitlements” in Spider-Man’s files draw attention.

So far, Sony’s games that have been released on all PC platforms have been published on Steam and Epic Game Store. If this leak turns out to be true, we could see PlayStation releasing future PC games on its own launcher.
